                                        I created a tri fold ATC holder out of a sheet of 8 1/2 x 11 paper

     My second project is a home decor, I used a wood plaque, adding images and its and pieces!!

This month we celebrated Valentines Day and created with vintage Valentines. I remember crafting with my grandma and making valentines! 

I upcycle a glass bottle, covering it in red mulberry paper, adding the adorable service boy valentine, a few pearls and filled it with Red Hot candy's as a gift for a friend.

Welcome and Happy New Year! New year new challenges, be sure to get your craft own, and join us over at the Arty Diva Challenge Blog

New Year, New Challenges ! I have never worked with a canvas before, and vowed to add to my Design Team Tool Box this year!

I have to admit from a very structured designers point of view, this was a challenge for me and I welcomed it with unstructured point of view, hard, but I love what I created! 

Here are the beautiful images I had to work with,

After adding layers to my canvas, I fussy cut out the images I chose to work with, added pop dots and adhered them to the canvas. Now came the fun part, embellishing! Anything goes in my book, as along as it fits the color scheme. 

I added flowers, and bits of steampunk gears, as it fit the theme. I though the rough jute used as the hanger added a bit more texture that added to the finish project, Thoughts??

I want to share my project for that I created for the Arty Diva Challenge Blog! Consider getting your craft on and join us, great prizes to be won and always anything goes!

I worked with the gorgeous kit from Lilli Rain Designs, Pretty as a Picture. I feel in love with the pinks and the vintage feel. 

I created a hinged box adorned with beautiful images, adding lace for a extra vintage look.

I love working with paper! it is so fascinating to me that this box is mostly paper and a little paint, a few pearls and lace!!

Gentlemen Easel Cards with coffee snark! Arty Diva Challenge Blog

Oh boy have I got a treat For you! I have had the most wonderful time creating 4 easel cards for Arty Divas Challenge Blog, complete with vintage looking men, and coffee stain and beaned paper!!

                                I used Dapper Gentlemen and Coffee Papers to create my cards

Arty Diva Challenge - Pretty in Green

Here we are the Dogs days of Summer.... or at least it feels like it here in Northeast Ohio! I thought the Dog Days of Summer in August, Yikes!

I love to use found items in my designs, I happened on these two vintage hoops at one of my favorite resell stores for a 1.00 each!  Check out my two designs for this month!

I made a paper cloth if you will to fit in the hoops out of a brown sturdy grocery bag, slipped the top over top and then went to town adding the images and bits and pieces to create these two beauties!!
