Beach Bums

 Hello,

It is my day to be up on the blog with A Perfect Time To Craft challenge blog. Consider getting your craft on and join us in this monthly challenge! Anything goes, all the time and there are great prizes to be won !

Thanks goes out to our wonderful sponsor for this month The Hungry JPeg !

I got to work with the cutest set, Christmas Elves Boys, these guys were perfect for my Beach Bum Christmas Slim Line card!

I also used the adorable Christmas Backgrounds,

I have family that is dotted all over Florida, as a kid, we would spend Christmas break, in Florida seeing family. My favorite thing to do was to always go the beach in the winter! Hailing from Ohio, that are filled with brutal winters, it was such a nice break. My card is created based on my winter beach visits.

Decide on the size of your slime line card, print out the Christmas background, fussy cut the elves, of your choice and place in the desired spots. I trim the boy in water off, so there was just a small tab left to glue him inside of the small slit I cut, so he looked like he was waving from the ocean. I added small flat backed pearls to the tree and a sail boat sticker I had in my stash. For the finishing touch a stamped a few beach birds in the sky.

XL Tombstone Tag

 Hello,

It's my day up on the This Is Halloween31 blog. I love Halloween, it is in my blood, having a great grandmother, that dappled in witch craft, ran off with the circus when she was 15, it is my blood! Halloween for me also is the one day of the year I can behave my real self, with no harsh judgement from the outside world, sad but true. Ok enough of all that..........

I love using recycled items in my art, here I have used a card board from a package of air deflectors, that are magnetize to block a air vent, I have an abundance of these, as I but them often, I used those sheet to hold my die cuts and then store them in heavy duty vinyl envelope.

I also love finding new uses for my growing die cut collection, here I have use a the cover die cut that makes an entire book! I laid the die cut over the cardboard and just cut the top, which fit perfect on the card board!

Add halloween theme paper, tags and such from a halloween collection. creepy spider, halloween spider web material, and a few fun embellishments, and I have a perfect tombstone tag!!!

I had plenty of images to use with this beautiful set Pas Du Deux found on the Gecko Galz Etsy store.

Add beautiful trim and a sheer gold bow to finish off an one of kind project!

I fell in love with image and wanted to make a stand alone project, a tag.

Vignette Molly May

 Hello,

It is my may day up on the Arty Divas Blog ! Have I got a beautiful set that I worked with, the is up for grabs for the winner! Also 5 winners will be chosen to received a winners badge for their blogs!

Check out this gorgeous set from our resident sponsor, LilliRain Designs.

                                                                                 Beautiful!

I love using recycle items in my art, something to be said for upcycling, recycle, reduce, reuse!

I found a couple different items at my local dollar store and 1 item from my favorite resell store. combining these 3 pieces, using the same theme all 3, made for a cohesive vignette.

As crafters, we are collectors, LOL, I will just say it, Hoaders of everything we might ever need for our craft! I have a vast collection of die cuts and am always trying to use them together or separately in my art. I have done that here! The topper on each of my pieces, are from a set that makes a book. By combining color papers from the Molly May kit, and different pieces of the die cut kit, I was able to give each piece a cohesive, but different topper. Combining embellishments from the kit, inked edges and one of my favorite embellishments, flat backed pearls, it all come together!
