Spring Daffodils Coffee Beans May 2020
Welcome Back Friends,
Where is Spring? April 1 is the day I turn off the heat, not this year. I live in Northeast Ohio, it snowed on May 9. Needless to say my daffodils are frozen. Thanks to the The Coffee Bean Stamping Machine, I brightened up my craft room while working with their digi daffodils.
Here's what I did
I covered a MDF tag with white card stock. Using Distress Oxide, Fossilized Amber I stenciled the left side of tag. I colored the daffodils with same ink, using a small oval make up brush. I added color to leaves using the same brush and technique. Fussy cut the image out, adhere to the tag. Add a black bow, add black flat back pearls.
Be sure to visit the Coffee Beans blog to see what my talented team mates have created.
Thanks for visiting and as always I appreciate your kind comments

Vintage Botanicals Envelope Flip Book Geck Galz May 2020
Welcome Back Friends,
Robin here with Gecko Galz Blog, sharing a flip book made with envelopes and the beautiful images from college sheets, French Botanicals and Botanical Jems.
Here is what you need;
4 envelopes. score board.pattern paper, ink. 110 # stock for tags, corner rounder, adhesive, script embossing folder, swirls clips, corner rounder, small velcro dot.
Here is what I did: Score each envelope with flap open 1/4" pass the crease, fold each score to make a gusset on the envelopes. Apply adhesive to the inside of the flap up to the new crease, lay the envelope back of the next envelope on the flap, aligned with the new crease, continue till you have a flip book. Next, mat all the backs of the envelopes, inking edges with antique linen ink. Do the same on the inside back of the envelope, inking edges as you go. Cut images to add to the mats inking edges, and adhere. Next cut 4 tags to fit inside the envelopes, emboss with the script embossing folder, and the ink the tags. Cut 4 flags from your paper scraps, dove tail the ends, and ink edges. Cut out your favorite 4 images from the college sheets, inking edges and adhere to the tag front, taking care to insert you flags under the image before burnishing down. Secure flag with with a circle clip for added interest. Cut one more image for the front of the flip book, adhere. Attach velcro dot under the flap.Slip the tags in the envelopes.
Special note, your mat sizes will depend on what size of envelopes you use.
I love how this flip book turned out and it perfect for showing off these beautiful images!
