This is Halloween Challenge Blog - Ouija Easel Greeting Cards

 Hello,

Halloween is just around the corner for me, and is my favorite Holiday! It is one time of year I can truly be myself and everyone thinks I am celebrating Halloween!

I decided to go rouge with my projects for this months installment for This is Halloween blog entry.

I happened to be a paranormal investigator too, so I know all about the Ouija board. After finding some very cool images around the subject, I decided to create some fun Easel Cards highlighting the images.

Check em out,

Using various sets of circle die cuts with different sizes, I cut spooky paper, layered them together and adhered them to front of my easel cards.

I love how they turned out!

Gecko Galz-Dog Days Of Summer

 Hello,

Robin here for Gecko Galz, sharing my 2 projects as a design team member for our theme this month. Dogs Days of Summer! I could not resist creating 2 very literal projects!

I chose to work with the fab Puppy Power College Set,

I just love this college set!!

After looking through my blanks, to my surprise, I found a wood leash holder and a wood paw print, that I bet I picked up in my travels!

Check out my two projects!

After painting the wood a greyish blue, I inked the edges. I added the image peeking out of the paw print. Using a recycled gold onion bag! Yep onion bag! I glued the bag to the back of the frame using a hot glue gun, and then wrapping it around the front, tacking it down as I went around the hook. I then glued the right side down, taking care to leave a bit of the onion bag to wrap around the bottom of my second image, after glue the image down.  I need some beachy embellishments to finish the project off!

My second project goes well with the first!

Arty Diva Vintage Postcards and Dear Mother

Hello.

Over at Arty Diva Challenge Blog, we are honoring our Mother's using the Dear Mother images and the beautiful Vintage Post Cards set, all compliments of our resident sponsor LilliRain Designs.

I love working with Lillirain Designs, beautiful, vintage images that print out perfect!

I crafted 4 greeting cards that I think would be perfect for a few occasions! Mothers Day, Mom's Birthday, Thank You card for mon and lastly welcome a new baby!

After fussy cutting out the Mothers, trim all post cards out and pick a back ground paper, and trim to fit your card front. I then inked all edges with Walnut Stain ink.

I tied on all ribbons next and adhered the postcards and pop dotted the Mom's for more interest. Add a few pearls if you like to complete you beautiful set of 4 greeting cards!

Crafts Galore Encore Challenge -Anything Goes

 Hello,

Here its June already! Time for a new challenge over at Crafts Galore Encore. Fabulous prizes to be won every month, from different sponsors every month!

June's Fabulous sponsor is Beccy's Place. A big Thank You to Beccy for providing the team with all the great images for us to work with!

Check out my gift bag I created using Birthday Girl!

I was given a stack of super heavy new gift bags!! I love when I can use something I already have! I printed out the birthday girl images and colored her using color pencils.

I found the perfect background paper that matched perfect for my colors and my theme! I love when that works out! I tied a bright orange bow around the paper and the adhered to the front of the gift bag. I cut our Birthday Girl and adhered to the background paper, taking care to ground her on 2 word balloons. I then stamped "How old are you", LOL! I though that went perfect with the smile on her face, and then created a tag. Tie that on the string of the bag with matching orange ribbon. Add some doodling around the tag and the background paper to bring it all together and add a little interest.

I hope you will join us,

Robin
