Roll On Slim Line card, Dr Digi and A Perfect Time To Craft

 Hello !

Brrr, very typical Northeast Ohio day, cold, gray and snowy. However, I have a fun, bright, winter themed card to show with you!

Thanks go out to our sponsor this month Dr Digi House Of Stamps ! With our sponsors A Perfect Time To Craft Challenge Blog, is fun and creativity! Consider getting your craft on and joining us for a chance to win great prizes, and as always any thing goes!! I hope to see you there!

From the moment I laid eyes on this adorable image, I knew what I wanted to create! I printed out two sizes of the image, Roll On Gnomes. Knowing that a slim line card would be perfect for design, I create the card, covered the front with fun striped red paper, rounded the corners, to lend to the rolling gnomes!! I trimmed out my gnomes, taking a que from the red paper, I colored my gnomes in shades of gray, red and a little green so they would pop off my background!  I decided to give each snowball a good coating of white glitter glue in a tube. I put my card together by grounding my gnomes on one of the strips, pop dotting them for extra dimension. Add a gray ribbon and a few white sequins to tie the theme and card together.

I hope you enjoyed my bright non traditional holiday card!

Altered Celestial Box and Dream Catcher stuffed Pocket with Gecko Galz

 Hello!

Have I got a treat for you! I am in love with moon! I make sure to never miss a walk under the full moon. I am not much of a sun lover, however, I love a bright sunny day, don't we all?!

I have used the beautiful images from Brother Moon and Sister Sun, which can be found here at Gecko Galz Etsy Store!

I just happen to have the cutest little wood box, that I picked up some where in my travels and decided to alter it into a Celestial Trinket Box.

After painting the box black, I filled 6 bottle caps
with my fav images, gluing them down and then
hot glued them to my box top. I took a couple
scoops of assorted beads, mixed them together,
and began gluing them down with a tacky glue. It
took a couple rounds of beads and glue to fill in
between the caps, however, I love the look I got!

I covered the lid and the bottom using two of my
fav, ATC's from the In The Stars ATC Collection

I then added some fun bling to pick up the pink
beads I added to my bead mix on the top, for added
interest!

My second project keeping with the theme, is a Dream Catcher loaded pocket, complete with

I had plenty of beautiful images to use between the sets!

I hope you enjoyed my projects, Thanks for stopping by! And be sure to stop over at
and see what my team mates have been creating!!

Vintage Snow Globe with Arty Divas

 Hello!!

Winter is upon us in my neck of the woods, Northeast Ohio. As I was sitting in my craft room all toasty and warm with my heavy sweat shirt on, and wool socks, pondering my projects for this month and looking at the beautiful images I have to work with from Lillie Rain Designs, Winter Cuties.

I decided to make a decor piece from an upcycled wood snow globe, I snagged at my fav thrift store !

Be Sure to stop by the Arty Diva Challenge Blog, add add you beautiful creations! Anything goes,
Oh and there some fab prizes to win!

                                                                       Oh. what fun I had!!

I covered the front and back with the Beavis cream paper, inking all edges. I ran lace trim around the round part of the globe, to give it a more vintage and finished look. I chose a scrap to much from scrap cart to match the minty green and die cut it out for the frame for my winter cutie, inking all edges. I then die cut my cutie out, inked the edges, and pop dotted her on top of the frame. Add a gauzy bow and matching flat back pearls here and there and viola! A one of kind vintage snow globe to keep you warm!

My second project was a matching pair if greeting cards, making good use of the beautiful images in the Winter Cuties set.
