I love creating a hostess gift when ever I am invited to someone's gathering, such a nice way to say Thank You for including me!
Using the fabulous sheet Russian Christmas, from Gecko Galz, here I have created a set of 3 ornaments, using snowflakes, I found at my favorite dollar store, stacked 2 together, using hot glue to hold them together.
Punch out the images you want to use, layer them on card stock, using pop dots for some dimension, adhere them to the center of each snowflake, add glitter glue embellishments, string a ribbon, and there you have it!
A set of 3 ornaments!

No invite is complete without a bottle of bubbly!
Create your own bottle topper in a jiffy by cutting a piece of card stock  8 1/2 " x 2  3/4"  score from one end at
2 3/4". Using a 2" punch, die cut, or craft knife, remove a 2 " from the center if the scored area.
Add a beautiful image from the  Russian Christmas sheet, embellish with a  bow,  a spring of holly or whatever suits your fancy !

Why stop there? ! There are so many fabulous images on one sheet of Russian Christmas, I decided to add a Christmas Card, and a Thank You card to me hostess set.
I cut a sheet of 8 12" x 11" in half vertically, folded them in half for 2 cards from one sheet of card stock.  Sticking with my color scheme Navy, I created two simple cards showing off the fabulous images on the Russian Christmas sheet. I ran the front half of the cards through my Big Shot with two different embossing folders for a simple understated background.
Die cutting or punching out simple embellishments to add to the images creates 2 quick one of a kind cards.
Add a ribbon and or a bow for the perfect finish.

Russian Tea Cakes,
Anyone !
I found this cute little cutting board recipe card holder in my stash, gave it a coat of white paint, a fun image,  for another  gift to add to my hostess set, recipe included!
I bet you can guess what is coming next !

Wrap up some fresh baked Russian Tea Cakes. create a tag, add a ribbon, for one yummy treat. sure to please the hostess!

There you have it, one complete hostess set using 9 images from one sheet of Russian Christmas digi images from Gecko Galz!!!

Thank You for visiting and be sure to leave me a comment and then get back onto the hop to see what my very talented fellow team mates have created!

Dark Dreams

 October 1  2020

Welcome Back Friends,

Robin here sharing my projects for Gecko Galz Blog.

I created this trio of battery operated candles using the Dark Dreams Collage Set

I added thin lace, and bits and pieces to embellish each candle. after tearing each image and inking the edges with black ink. Here they are lite up.

I created all three of them doubled sided, thinking this trio would look so cool sitting on a coffee table.

Thanks for visiting.

Until Next time,

Robin

Welcome Back Friends,

Today is my day on the Gecko Galz Blog, I made a deck of ATC cards to go with the trio of candles featured above.

I used the Dark Dreams Collage Set. I left the edges raw, hoping to add to the darkness, and then tied with a organza ribbon,

I think these two sets would look so cool sitting on a coffee table. Thoughts

Thank You for visiting

Until Next Time
