My first box card!

Aargghhh, I recently discovered box card die cuts! I was feeling a bit salty today, hence, my pirate themed box card!

The box card die cut is from Lawn Fawn- Scalloped Die Cut Pop Card Box and the stamps are from Kindred Stamps - Yoho stamp set.

My first box cards!

March 10 2018

Good Morning Friends!!

What a wonderful crafty day I had yesterday! So good for my soul. My Bestie, Geri Holt Coffman and I played all day, we began our day with creating the MVPs for our roller derby team. This is our 12th season as Jeer Leaders for Akron Roller Derby! We have a double header tonight, wish us a winning streak, for 2 wins tonight!

After the we cleaned up from that task, we decided to play with paper, my favorite. Find following our makes. We used the Scalloped Card Pop Up Box die from Lawn Fawn and Bestie used Fairy Friends stamps and Fairy Friends die cuts also from Lawn Fawn.

This was her first box card! I think it turned out fabulous!

I also used the Scalloped Card Pop Up Box die cut from Lawn Fawn. My stamp choice was the YoHo set from Kindred Stamps! I am smitten with Kindred Stamps, Oh, they have some many geeky, pop culture and unique sets.

If you would like, leave me a comment on how you "aargh" today!!! Thanks in advance for visiting! Make it a creative day!

Frame It Editorial Call for Rubber Stamp Madness

Okey Dokey !

I made my first post on my new blog, so I thought I would go a little crazy and add photos and a post about what I have submitted for possible publication.

My heart sings when I create any make that has a vintage, Steampunk, or shabby chic feel to it! I sent these two makes to Rubber Stamp Madness, Frame It Challenge, Wish me Luck!

I am happy to announce that my two projects above have been selected for publication!!! I will be featured in the Spring Issue of Rubber Stamp Madness in the column, Card Shoppe!! I am so excited!

These two makes also where sent to Rubber Stamp Madness, Full Moon Challenge. The box card was a first for me! I am so hooked! The second make is a fun card I made using Kindred Stamps, Trash Panda stamp set, isn't he adorable?!

Trash Panda will also be published in the Spring issue of Rubber Stamp Madness in the column, Card Shoppe! Lucky me!

My New Blog !

Hello Friends

Thank You for visiting my new blog! I am brand new to blogging and have gray hair, LOL, so I am asking for patience as this Granni, learns about blogging!

I am a long time crafter, since childhood. My two maternal Grandma's were a huge influence in my daily life and of course introduced me to joy of crafting. I have the fondest memories of handcrafting with my grandma's, everything from needlework, sewing, macaroni, and paper crafts. I still have and cherish the paper umbrellas I made with my great grandma using gift wrapping, dollies and paper straws.

I discovered modern day paper crafting about 30 years ago, when I attend a home party, with rubber stamps, since then I have been hooked!

I have had the honor of being published many times in national craft magazines, Card Maker, Scrap and Stamp Arts, Just Cards, Just Steampunk, and Rubber Stamp Madness, just to mention a few. What a thrill it is to see your own work in print!

Paper crafting is good for my soul, it is my therapy if you will.

Thank You for visiting my new blog
